Sage Salvia Sage Scientific name: Three- lobed Sage A common plant in Israel, you can find different varieties: fragrant sage, Egyptian sage, sage sage. The sage plant is protected and forbidden for commercial picking.

Culinary Uses:
Sage is used as a supplement to sauces, pastas and more.
Sage is recommended for cooking hot foods, soups and hot foods in the winter. It is an important ingredient in the blend of de-Provence.

Other uses:
Sage is a disinfectant and shrinking plant containing bitter substances and antioxidants. The aromatic substance called Tojun has an estrogenic effect and in large amounts can adversely affect the nervous system.
