Mushrooms from the Far East, in Israel it is almost impossible to find this fungus in its new form.

Culinary Uses: The mushrooms are suitable for additions to
sauces, pastries, pastas and rice. Suitable for East Asian dishes (stir-fried, Tom Young soup and more).

Additional uses:

• The fungus is rich in selenium, a powerful antioxidant mineral and very important in protecting the body's systems against cancer.
• The privacy contains a variety of B vitamins, potassium that contributes to lowering blood pressure, iron and zinc.
• The mushrooms are very low in calories (only 14 calories per 100 grams).
• According to Chinese medicine, their color is suitable for eating to people suffering from respiratory problems.
• Shitake mushrooms contain a drug that is considered to be anti-cancer.

Additional tips - home drying:
• In the air: Hang the mushrooms on a wire, or sprinkle on absorbent paper and leave to dry in the room. In about two weeks the mushrooms will dry and then keep them in a container sealed with salt.
• In the oven: Heat the oven to a very low temperature (100 degrees). Arrange the mushrooms in a baking pan and dry for 1-2 hours (time varies from oven to oven) until the fungi lose any moisture. Keep the container sealed with moisture.

How to use:
It is best to soak the mushrooms in boiling water for about half an hour, to filter and squeeze. It is recommended to add soups, meats, pies and more.
